When NIL was first introduced, athletes and brands worked together simply because of a singular point of connection, and not always due to a larger strategic partnership. Now that we're further down the road and into revenue sharing, donor fatigue and other compensation complications exist, and brands (and athletes) don't have the luxury to just make it work. They need access to data to back up the partnership.
